I’ve not taken part in a walking event before. What support will I get?

It can be daunting to take on a fundraising walking challenge, but sign up today and you’ll be supported from the start including:

  • a brilliant fundraising pack containing information, top tips and sponsorship forms to help you hit your fundraising target

  • a full signposted route with marshals and medics so you can concentrate on those steps
  • access to the Ultra Challenge app which includes training guides, training walks, maps and more!

Why should I take part in the walk for Cats Protection?

Two reasons, both are as important as each other:

  • firstly, to help cats and kittens in need across the country. Your generosity and kindness enables our teams to go on caring for abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens
  • secondly, for yourself! By taking part in this walk, it can be a fantastic and fun way to challenge yourself and mix up your day to day, get fit and raise vital donations for cats in need. We like to think of it as the good kind of nervous. You’re getting out of your comfort zone but you’ll be having so much fun doing it!
I’m not sure I can do this long a route. Do you have shorter distance events?

Yes! We understand that not everyone wants to walk a minimum of 25km and we have lots of shorter distance events available for you, including many 10km options. Choose your event here.

Alternatively, you can do your own local sponsored walk instead. Simply register your challenge with us and we'll support you every step of the way!
