By sponsoring a cat pen at one of our cat centres, you'll be making a difference to countless cats and kittens in our care. Your support will help provide a safe place for cats to stay, keeping them fed, warm and cared for while they wait to find a loving new home.
There are six sponsor pens to choose from, located at cat centres across the UK. The cats in our sponsor pens are always changing as they find homes and new arrivals come into our care, so you’ll meet lots of different cats and kittens throughout your sponsorship journey.

You’ll also receive a welcome pack when you first sign up, including a certificate, window sticker, a picture postcard of the cat currently in your sponsor pen and a folder to keep your postcards in.
Your sponsorship helps fund the food, shelter and medical care not just for cats in your pen but cats across the UK. With your help, we’re able to help around 200,000 cats a year.
Cat sponsorship makes the perfect gift for the cat lover in your life. Simply select the gift option and and enter their details under the gift recipient section at checkout. We'll then send a welcome pack and postal newsletters directly to them. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
Do you have a little cat lover in your life? Sign them up to our Kids’ Cat Sponsorship and they’ll receive fun cat content created especially for children aged 7+.
You can become a Cats Protection Sponsor from £6 a month, the equivalent of just £1.38 a week. Of course, you're very welcome to make a bigger gift each month to support even more cats and kittens in our care. You could even sponsor more than one pen and follow multiple cat journeys.
Three times a year, you’ll receive a newsletter in the post jam-packed with updates from your sponsor pen and the cats that have been rehomed. If you’d like to hear about your pen more often, you can also opt in to receiving email updates and get the latest news (and cute cat photos!) straight to your inbox.
What’s more, you’ll be able to watch a live webcam stream by logging into our exclusive online sponsor area. Watch them snooze, stretch and scamper in real-time. From time to time, we'll also share stories of other cats in our care across our centres, so you can discover even more of the lives your support helps to change.
Yes. Sponsoring multiple pens means you’ll be helping even more cats and kittens in our care, while following the stories of multiple cats.

Rather than an individual cat, you'll be sponsoring a pen at one of our cat centres, helping every cat that stays in that pen. When the cat in your pen is rehomed, a new cat will take their place. This means you’ll be making a difference to lots of cats and kittens.!
Yes, sponsorship makes a thoughtful gift for cat lovers. Simply select the gift option and and enter their details under the gift recipient section at checkout. We'll then send a welcome pack directly to them explaining that they've been gifted a sponsorship.
Kids aged 7+ can enjoy helping cats through our dedicated Kids' Cat Sponsorship programme. They’ll receive three postal newsletters a year filled with fun feline activities, cool cat facts and updates about all the cats in their sponsor pen.

You’re welcome to ask the centre you’re sponsoring about arranging a visit to your sponsor pen. Please note that visits to many centres are by appointment only. You can search for your centre and find their contact details here.
We’d love you to! All of our sponsor cats are available for adoption, though we aim to rehome them as quickly as possible. Please visit ‘Find a cat’ to see all the cats that are currently up for adoption.
