Cat adoption in the Anglia Coastal area
Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in the Anglia Coastal area? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.
Cats available for adoption from Cats Protection Anglia Coastal Branch are featured below. To express your interest in a particular cat, please enquire via their listing. If you have any general enquiries about your suitability, or the adoption process, please call us on: 0345 371 4202 or email us at enquiries@angliacoastal.cats.org.uk
We ask that you please do not apply for a cat if you already have holiday plans in the next few weeks.
If you are also in a rental property, then please ensure that you have a signed letter from your landlord that states you are allowed to have a pet cat in the property, before you contact us to rehome a cat.
Please be aware that if, after applying for a particular cat or kitten that you are interested in, you do not hear from a member of the branch adoption team regarding your application within 5 working days, then on this occasion you will not have been unsuccessful. However, please do not give up, we have lots of other wonderful cats and kittens available and looking for a home, so please do keep applying!
Please please remember that when you adopt a cat, or kitten, and you first take them home, you'll need to help them gently settle into their new life. A change of environment is often stressful for a cat, and it can take a few weeks for them (and you) to feel relaxed.
The first few hours after welcoming your cat home can affect how they'll adapt to their new life. Remember not to rush them - prepare to be patient and don't pressure your cat into doing things they may not yet be ready for.
