Come and meet our refined little lady, Poppet!
Poppet is a wonderful character here at the centre, a girl who loves her home comforts and enjoys spending her time watching the world go by from the comfort of her throne. Poppet is a quietly confident girl who will tell you what she wants whether it be hours of head scratches or some space of her own. She can occasionally get grumpy, as we all do, and will let you know by plodding off and turning her back to you. For this reason Poppet will require an adult only home.

But most of the time she is the definition of a lap cat and will quite happily sit on your lap the entire day if you let her.

If asked Poppet would say humans are her favourite animal, in fact she’s not much of a fan of other ones. She often gets stressed round the other cats at the centre, so we have given Poppet her own private suite away from the noise of the cats, and she is so grateful.

Poppet has not had an easy ride, she has some skin irritation but with the help of a daily tablet, which she takes very nicely in a treat, she is a lot more comfortable and happy. Poppet has been waiting to find the perfect home for quite some time now and is desperate to find a family that will love her as much as the staff at the centre do.
