Hi there! I’m Peter and I’m very pleased to meet you.
Well, I think it’s fair to say that life has not been easy for me recently, but my future is certainly looking up now! The only thing missing now is a loving new home to spend it in!
Very sadly, the human that I used to live with became unwell and wasn’t able to take care of me anymore. Some kind neighbours looked after me for a little while and then I came here to Cats Protection. Although the Cats Protection team were very kind to me, I really didn’t like being in a pen and I became pretty miserable and scared. My beautiful fur has suffered a little too as I used to overgroom when I was feeling anxious.
I recently moved here to a foster home and to be honest, I haven’t looked back since! I feel so much more relaxed here and within a day I was exploring and getting to know my foster carers. Now those days of hiding away are just a distant memory and I can’t keep off my foster carer’s knee! I love to be made a huge fuss of and although my purr starts off quiet, it builds and builds and sounds like I’m about to take off!
I am becoming more and more interested in toys, especially ones with feathers! I’ve been very interested in watching some children playing football through the window. I’m not sure I'd want to join in, but I certainly think I’d make an excellent referee! I am the right colour after all!
My foster carers say that I am a funny and inquisitive little man and I am very sociable when I get to know you. It may take me a little time to build my confidence around new people, but the best things in life are definitely worth waiting for and I think I am most definitely worth a little time and patience! I would love to find a home with people who will give me the time and space that I need to find my feet and, before you know it, I’ll be politely tapping you on the hand and inviting you to administer some chin scritches!
