Name: Lauren

Location: Tyneside Cat Centre

I was very sadly abandoned by someone in an industrial estate. Luckily someone saw me and came to my rescue and Cats Protection were able to help and take me in. I am an older lady and have been very shy since coming into care. As you can imagine this has not been easy on me. I stayed under my fort for months as I was not 100% sure of trusting again. But now that I am feeling so much better, I purr away and love cheek and chin scratches. My favourite thing at the moment is having a groom, this is helping me a lot to trust again. I have a Grade 1 Heart Murmur which my carers can chat to you about as it might be because of the stress I have been through. I have been having partial seizures/facial twitching signs, which is being controlled with my medication, Phenobarbitone Epiphen, which I have every day. I have been stable on this medication which is great news!! I am also on Loxicom for suspected osteoarthritis. My wonderful carers can discuss this all with you. Could you be the one to turn my terrible experience into something positive and give me a second chance? I really am the sweetest girl and after being in care since May I so deserve to find my retirement home. Please get in touch soon as I don't want to wait too long to be homed.
