In memory of Misty

I love having cats! To me a home, even with the loveliest of doggies,  just is not complete without a cat. There’s nothing like having a cuddle with a lovely, little, warm, purring pussy cat! It’s so comforting! Misty was just such a cat! She was so trusting, even with 2 boisterous puppies around. She’d lie asleep on her back with no fear of being disturbed. I couldn’t resist rubbing her soft white belly when she was like that. It never disturbed her!  I lost her this year to a car the second cat to be lost that way. She was brought home to me in a box and before I could hand her to my neighbour to bury her I picked her up to cuddle her one last time and just sobbed and sobbed! I was heart broken and my mum was in hospital 80 miles away.  For now we can’t have another cat but when we move we will have one and I would like to consider having a cat that is in need rather than buying a kitten. I think we need to have a cat each. It’s difficult to have a place to feed a cat out of the way of the dogs so with Misty that was a windowsill but mum needs a cat that wants to just curl up on her lap and sleep and purr! I just want a lovely friendly cat I can cuddle and play with!
