Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in Newbury? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.

When you adopt from Cats Protection, your new cat will come home to you neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, protected against fleas and worms, and with a 4 week Petplan insurance policy. Our adoption fee is £100 per adult cat and £120 per kitten (aged 2 - 6 months).

To express your interest in a particular cat, please enquire via their profile below. We will assess your application and if it's a good match, we will contact you to arrange an appointment so you can meet your moggy match in the fur!

Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, you will need to attend your appointment within 48 hours of us contacting you. After meeting them, if a reservation is placed, you must adopt your cat or kittens within 7 days. If you are likely to have any major changes in your household over the next 4-6 weeks such as a new baby, change of working hours, building work, moving house, holiday etc. please make sure to state this clearly in your application.

We cannot hold cats to accommodate holidays or house moves.

If you have any general enquiries about your suitability or the adoption process, please call us on: 01635 200111 or email us
