You’ll soon receive an email from us confirming your registration, plus some extra hints and tips to get your fundraiser off to a great start.
Set up your fundraising page, you can either use JustGiving or Tiltify.
The more personalisation you do, the more donations you are likely to receive, so update that story with why Cats Protection is personally an important cause to you. Include photos of yourself, your cat, any personal touches so your audience and donors know it's you.
Get planning. Have a think about what kind of content you want to stream as part of your fundraiser. Have a look at our fundraising tips page for some inspiration. You might also want to do some of the suggested activities as part of the ‘Kitten Season’ campaign, such as our kitten naming polls.
Promote your fundraiser. The more people that will attend your stream, the more donations you are likely to get. You don’t have to have a massive following to do a successful fundraiser (though we are sure it helps!). Even just a few donations from loyal followers, friends & family can make all the difference to cats in our care. Check out our resources page to find our promotional social media assets for you to use.
