When you sponsor a pen, you’ll receive a dedicated welcome pack alongside regular updates and photos from the different cats that call it home during their time at Cats Protection.

You won’t be just supporting one cat, by sponsoring a pen, you’ll be making a difference to countless cats and kittens in our care.

You can even watch them purr, pounce and play with live webcams from inside the sponsor pen.

Though our sponsor pens are located across the country your support will help cats where they need it most, from just £1.38 a week.

Plumbob
Plumbob

We’d like to introduce this fantastic boy, Plumbob. Plumbob was abandoned at a vet clinic before arriving at Cats Protection so his history and age are completely unknown. It's clear that Plumbob had been straying for some time and the vet estimated that he’s between two and three years old. Plumbob is a confident, easy going and very friendly cat. He adores his big round cheeks being scratched and he currently has the loudest purr in the cat centre! When he gets his second chance, Plumbob will require outdoor access. He’d also love a big garden to explore. We hope that someone has the perfect home for this sweet boy.

Violet
Violet

Meet Violet, a lovely cat who was found straying with her two small kittens before arriving at Cats Protection. Not much is known about her background, but the team have said that Violet’s a shy but very sweet cat (once she gets to know you). Her two kittens, Vincent and Victoria, have already gone to their new homes so we’d like Violet to find her own home soon. A quiet place with outdoor access and no children would be perfect for her.

Milo
Milo

Meet Milo, a seven-month-old sweetheart who arrived at Cats Protection when his owners had a newborn baby and felt they couldn’t look after him anymore. Milo is friendly, loving and so affectionate. Full of energy, he loves to climb and play with all his toys. Milo isn’t allowed foam toys though after an x-ray showed he’d swallowed one previously! After surgery to remove the toy he’s now fully recovered and feeling much better. Milo was an indoor cat before but he’d like lots of outdoor space to explore when he finds a loving new home. He would also prefer his new owner to keep the vacuum cleaner away from him because he really doesn’t like the noise! We hope Milo gets his second chance soon, he really deserves it.

Sausage
Sausage

Introducing Sausage. Sausage came to Cats Protection when she was abandoned at the vets with her four kittens. She’s the sweetest girl with big green eyes, a soft white tuxedo and a lovely nature. Her kittens, Bratwurst, Chorizo, Chipolata and Cumberland are three weeks old and are all girls. Sausage is estimated to be about two years old. She’s a great mum to her kittens and is very protective of them. When she’s not on mum duty, you can find Sausage chilled out receiving a fuss and head scratches from the team at the centre. Sausage and her babies will be on the lookout for their forever homes as soon as the kittens are old enough!

Rio

Rio is a small, beautiful domestic shorthair girl. She is two years old, incredibly inquisitive and loves to play with her toys. Rio would love a home that has space to explore and a knee to sit on. This friendly girl would make a lovely addition to a home with older children or teenagers, where she can receive lots of attention and space to play.

Wolfie
Wolfie

Wolfie is a sweet nine-year-old gentleman, who came into our care when one of his owners sadly passed away. Wolfie is quite nervous and prefers to spend his time in the safety of the back of his pen or inside his cat hide. The team at Scotland Cat Centre are dedicated to helping Wolfie settle in and find a loving new home.

Become a Cats Protection sponsor and we’ll keep you updated on every cat you’re helping.

Here’s what you’ll receive:

  • a dedicated sponsorship welcome pack including a postcard of the current cat in your pen and a folder to keep the postcards safe, a personalised certificate plus a window sticker
  • three postal newsletters a year updating you on how you’re helping cats in our care, including a postcard of the current cat in your sponsor pen
  • regular email updates about how your pen resident is getting on, when they find a new home and new arrivals to your pen (if you opt in to receiving these)
  • an online portal to see your latest pen resident and watch them on our new live stream. You can also look back at all the cats you’ve already helped

Simon's Cat supports Cats Protection Sponsorship

In celebration of our special relationship, Cats Protection has teamed up with Simon’s Cat! They love our cat sponsorship scheme so much that they have decided to support all of our Cat Sponsorship pens by giving them a Simon's Cat style makeover. Cats Protection is delighted to work with Simon’s Cat and we thank them for their support.

Who is Simon's Cat?

Simon’s Cat is a loveable, charming, yet mischievous cat that lives with his long suffering owner – Simon. Simon’s Cat made his first appearance online, in a film called Cat Man Do in 2008, made by animator and illustrator, Simon Tofield. Since then this well-known feline has appeared in over 100 short films, books, games and comic strips to name a few.
