Welcome to Cats Protection Exeter Branch

We're here to support cats and kittens in Exeter, covering postcodes: EX1, EX16, EX17, EX2, EX3, EX4, EX5, EX6, EX7, EX8, EX9, TQ14.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we're passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Exeter, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Exeter area. You can find out more about the work of Cats Protection here.

Exeter Branch focuses on raising funds to enable us to help those cat owners who are struggling financially to have their cats neutered. We also help those landowners with managing their cat population of feral cats with neutering financial support.

Please call our neutering line on 01392 276291 or email enquiries@exeter.cats.org.uk.

Neutering advice

At Exeter Branch, our main focus is on helping people with advice and - if eligible - financial assistance towards the cost of neutering their cat. Cats Protection champions neutering as the only way to reduce the number of unwanted cats in the UK.

Cats Protection's Winter Campaign

This year, we’ve seen the number of cats being abandoned increase by over 30%.

We know tough times can lead to emotional and heart-breaking decisions, but abandoning a cat should never be one. That’s why this winter, we want to show how we are here for every cat’s journey, and for every owner who needs our advice and support. Whether it’s finding loving new homes or providing the vital support owners need to help them continue their journey together, we’re here to help.

Volunteer at Cats Protection Exeter Branch

Without volunteers, Exeter Branch simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As Exeter Branch no longer re-homes or fosters cats, you can volunteer to help us at one of our fundraising events.
If you are interested, please ring our fundraising officer, Bev, on 01392 669989. Thank you!

As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of Exeter, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance. You can find out more about volunteering for Cats Protection here.
