Welcome to Cats Protection Frome & District Branch
We have been supporting cats and kittens for over 22 years in Frome and District, covering postcodes: BA10, BA11, BA12, BA13, BA14, BA15, SN10, SN12. If you are not in our area use the find a branch facility of the Cats Protection website that covers other areas.
The Frome & District Branch is run entirely by a small team of passionate and cat-loving volunteers who are dedicated to improving the lives of cats and kittens in our area. We work tirelessly to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offer support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within Frome, Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster and the surrounding area. You can find out more about the work of Cats Protection here.
Monthly meetings
If you'd like to find out more about what we do, please feel free to come along to one of our monthly meetings. The start time is 7.30pm & the venue unless otherwise stated is Frome Cricket club - see map. Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday each month except August and December (no meeting).
We work closely with Bath College where we have a 4 pen cattery at their site in Radstock. On 3rd April 2025 the students held an end of term event to raise money for Cats Protection, they had a cake sale, guess the number of jelly beans in a jar and meet Skye the barn owl, this raised a fantastic sum of £129.69. Thank you so much to all the staff and students at the college for supporting us, we are very grateful.
