Cat adoption in Hemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in Hemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.

Please note, we do not home kittens to families with young children, as kittens are liable to scratch and bite, especially when poked and prodded by little fingers! We do, however, home adult cats to families with small children. We also avoid placing kittens with people who work full-time, as they require a lot of attention when they are tiny, and don't like to be left on their own. Occasionally, 'indoor' cats are available but the majority of our cats will need access to a garden after having been with you for about 4-6 weeks. We'd also prefer that you are not on or near a main road.

Our adoption fee is £100 for cats over six months old, and £120 for kittens.

Cats available for adoption from Cats Protection Hemel Hempstead & Berkhamsted are featured below. To express your interest in a particular cat, please enquire via their listing. If you have any general enquiries about your suitability, or the adoption process, please call us on: 03453711851.
