Cats Protection's Miles for Moggies is a virtual running challenge which takes place during May on a date of your choice! It is open to everyone to take part, whether you're a keen runner or challenging yourself to your first ever 5k.
You can decide which challenge would best suit you. There are four distances to choose from:
Any day in May, the choice is yours. Sign up now and start stretching!
Anywhere in the world! This challenge doesn't have a set location, so you can complete your run local to you or at a destination of your choice.
Absolutely! You can buy a purple Cats Protection tech t-shirt when signing up to wear with pride during your challenge. You also have the option to purchase a neck buff when you register to help keep you sheltered from the elements during your training! The t-shirt size guide can be found here.
It costs £22 to sign up, which includes your medal, and this will support our work to make sure every cat finds a loving home. You can also set up a JustGiving page and fundraise through your virtual running challenge, meaning your miles will make an even bigger impact on the cats that need our help.
You’ll feel amazing inside and out as you conquer your Miles for Moggies run. Miles for Moggies will encourage you to tackle a new personal challenge to benefit both your physical and mental health, and all the while you’ll know that your efforts are helping to make a better life for cats.
Without your support, the teams at our 34 centres and around 200 branches simply wouldn’t be able to provide the incredible level of care they do on a daily basis for cats in need of our help.
You can choose any local Cats Protection branch or centre to receive 100% of your registration fee and the funds you raise from your challenge, helping the cats in your area.
