Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we're passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in North Birmingham, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the North Birmingham area. Volunteer at Cats Protection North Birmingham Branch

Without volunteers, North Birmingham Branch simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of North Birmingham, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance. Transport Volunteer

North Birmingham

If you enjoy driving and would love to use those skills to help our cats, this could be the role for you. Our transport volunteers provide vital assistance to our teams and volunteer groups in the local area by transporting equipment, litter, food – and even cats! They have the essential role of connecting our network of volunteers, sites, vets and supporters. Without the passionate and committed teams of volunteers across Cats Protection, we wouldn’t be able to help the thousands of cats...

The North Birmingham Cats Protection Direct Rehoming Service is here to help cat-owners, cat carers and cat finders to rehome cats in need directly to new forever homes. Year on year, this scheme continues to successfully rehome cats from across North Birmingham and beyond.

Our helpline volunteers will take all necessary details regarding your enquiry (and ensure that you live within the postcode area supported by our branch).  The branch is run entirely by volunteers, we do endeavour to make contact with you within 4 days of receiving your enquiry - but please do be patient.
